Bridal Shower Favors

My mom threw me such a beautiful bridal shower on October 6th. It was a garden party theme that she had planned almost a year in advance. She bought little watering cans at Target during their after Christmas sale. She attached cute ribbon and a tag to make them fit it with the theme. Of course, that wasn't enough! My mom searched Pinterest for another favor idea. My mom found a hand scrub recipe on Pinterest that we used to create the second half of my bridal shower favors. To view the recipe we followed, click here. To follow my instructions, continue reading :)

You will need a cute jar. My mom got the 4oz jars that we used at Walmart. We filled the jars 3/4 full of sugar. Then we added Dawn dish soap. I'm sure all of you crazy coupon ladies have a ton of the Dawn dish soap with hand renewal laying around. Use that to fill the jar until it reaches just below the bottom of the mouth of the jar. Then stir until the sugar and hand soap are evenly mixed. We added a cute piece of fabric and twine to match the garden party theme!

Everyone seemed to really enjoy their favors. They are also cute as Christmas gifts! If you plan on making your own gardeners hand scrub make sure to come back and let me know how it turned out!
